All Trainers are I'm Possible Certified by Micah Lancaster
Connor Jean is an international skill enhancement specialist. Connor first began his basketball journey as a player. He fell in love with the game of basketball at a very early age and had dreams to play division 1 hoops. However, because of his physical stature he knew this was going to be an uphill battle. But, he didn't care. He was going to stop at nothing to becoming a D1 hooper. "Your genetics and physical make up is out of your control. But, what you can control is your work ethic and skill development."
Connor began working tirelessly on his skills and perfecting his craft. Little did he know back then, but he was preparing for what was to come. Connor went on to have a solid high school career at Northgate High School in the bay area and move on to play Junior College ball at Diablo Valley College. From there, he was able to achieve his dream and transfer after two season to play in the WCC at Loyola Marymount College. After finishing up his undergraduate degree at LMU, he did a post graduate year at University of West Georgia and played on the basketball team while acquiring his MBA. Connor was a knock down shooter at the college level and ended his career shooting 45.8% from the field and 42.5% from 3pt range. Connor's life is basketball and it is evident when you watch him teach. His passion exudes through his trainings. "I am a teacher and life coach and my classroom is the basketball court. It is more than basketball for me. This game is my platform to motivate, inspire, and prepare the minds of the next generation to help us move forward as a society. Not everyone is going to become a pro, but everyone will be able to take the disciplines and life lessons they learn through training to apply into any avenue in life."
Connor is the biggest believer in his players. He is real and honest. He takes on your dreams and goals as his own. Connor believes that in this world, we are able to create our own reality. It all stems from one the belief, two having a plan, three acquiring a mentor that has been there before and can help get you there, and then lastly, to execute. Most times kids struggle with that true belief in themselves, and that's where Connor comes in,. He believes in you before you even believe in yourself. He will show you the way and make you believe that it is possible, because he is living proof of it.
"I got into training because I wanted to be the coach that I wish I had."
Since beginning my training journey in January 2018, I have been fortunate to partner up with some of the biggest names in the industry. People like, Drew Hanlen with Pure Sweat Basketball, Alex Bazzell with Through the Lens, Luke Cooper Overtime Trainer/ Coach, and Micah Lancaster with I'm Possible Training- one of the pioneers and true innovators in skill enhancement training. I have helped worked out and train over 60+ NBA players and 6 NBA all stars. I have taken my own experiences as a player and watched what the best in the world do and combine that with skill enhancement training. I believe this is the most effective form of skill development and is vital in the developmental stages in any players career. I specialize in shooting mechanics, footwork, body positioning, and building out your offensive game.
My favorite players to work with are my high school players that have goals of playing college basketball. Since starting my journey in this industry, I have been fortunate to send 6 out of 8 of my high school athletes that have come through my academy to play Division 1 basketball on a full ride scholarship. If you trust the process and do the work, you will see a 10X return on your investment in yourself. I look forward to working with you next and helping you reach your dream.
Meet Owen, he is a former varsity starter for Loyola High School. Owen is a unique case. He trained with Blueline basketball for the last 2.5 years, and in that time, went from a JV player and the 12 man in the rotation, to starter and huge contributor to the Loyola Cubs program his senior year. Owen is the epitome of what happens when you work hard and trust the process. Owen is one of the most skilled players I have ever coached and is a true byproduct of skill enhancement training. Owen specializes in finishing, body positioning, and ball handling. He has also become quiet a shooting connoisseur due to all the hours we have spent working on his own shot. Owen is currently an undergrad student at UCLA where he is double majoring in philosophy and psychology. We are super lucky to have him on our staff.
